PERSOL’s Mission to Address Societal Challenges

Visualizing Career-Related Challenges and Focusing on Core Value Creation

The PERSOL Group believes that our mission as a “Career Well-being” Creation Company is to provide opportunities for all individuals to work with vitality and in ways that reflect who they are. We have identified “Creating work opportunities” as our most important material issue in achieving this vision, and we continue striving to address the work-related challenges facing individuals, companies, and society.
We aim to create core value by understanding the structural challenges involved and visualizing solutions, as well as the impact these will have on society.
As the first step towards this goal, we have created a Challenge Framework that identifies the social challenges associated with improving career well-being. Going forward, we will use this framework to visualize how to solve these challenges and generate societal value through our capital and business activities. We will summarize our approach using a logic model (Theory of Change) and communicate our plans both internally and externally.

The PERSOL Group’s Challenge Framework

Framework diagram showing how systemic barriers, limited career options, skills gaps, information gaps, and employment mismatches lead to reduced ability to make independent career choices. The chart links these root causes to core challenges such as lack of job fulfillment and limited social contribution through work, which in turn contribute to lower work motivation, declining performance, mental health concerns, undesired employment, labor shortages, stagnant wages, lower productivity, and broader societal challenges.

IMPACT CIRCLE, Inc. supported us in creating the above Challenge Framework.
