Solving social issues through our business

The material issues of the PERSOL Group are largely divided into two categories. One category is related to “solving social issues through our business”. We have selected the following issues to be solved through our services for individuals and corporate customers: creating work opportunities, providing diverse work styles, providing learning opportunities, and increasing productivity at companies.

Of the eight material issues, we have positioned creating work opportunities as the most important issue because it is closely related to the PERSOL Group's value creation goal: creating good work opportunities for one million people by 2030 by increasing the potential of personnel. We have positioned providing diverse work styles (increasing opportunities by offering many options) and providing learning opportunities (increasing opportunities by expanding capabilities) as elements that are necessary to create work opportunities. In addition, we are aware that increasing productivity will lead to the creation of more opportunities for individuals to demonstrate their capabilities, not to mention that it will help streamline corporate activities and end the labor shortage. In other words, we believe that increasing productivity will lead to the creation of better work opportunities

People need diverse work style options to choose from according to the stage of their career since the structure of society has changed and people are working past retirement age. At the PERSOL Group, we propose and provide flexible work styles and employment options, helping people realize work styles that cater to their individual needs.

  • People who have limited work style options due to childcare, nursing care, or the similar reasons will be able to work anytime, anywhere.
  • Options will be provided to people who prefer to work by making effective use of time and those who desire flexibility in work style.

Learning opportunities to acquire knowledge and abilities which are necessary for employees will enable companies to improve their human capital and enhance their corporate value sustainably.

PERSOL's approach

Due to the decrease in the working-age population in Japan, improving productivity has become an urgent task for companies. The PERSOL Group contributes to the streamlining of corporate activities and to solutions to this labor shortage by providing services which help improve productivity.
Cost reduction, increased operational and time efficiency, concentration on core operations, and other improvements will enable companies to increase productivity while effectively using limited resources.
