Personal Data Policy

This “Personal Data Policy” has been established to help you understand our approach to handling personal data, and to serve as a guide for each of us to responsibly and carefully handle your personal data, effectively utilizing it for the benefit of you and society.

1.We respect your rights and interests as we work towards a better future for society

  • We use personal data to design new ways of working and create better work opportunities that will enrich lives.
  • We exercise our role of connecting you with our client companies while we provide our utmost priority in protecting your rights and interests.
  • We are mindful that the personal data entrusted to us may have a significant impact on the way you work and live, depending on how it is used. We will not engage in any use of your personal data that could result in unfair discrimination or exclusion.
  • Based on these principles, we will provide work opportunities to each individual according to their best interest and suitability where they can expand their potential in line with their preferred lifestyle. In this way, we will contribute to a healthier and happier society.

2.We ensure transparency

  • When using personal data, we will be clear and transparent on what data is used and how it is used.
  • When analyzing or predicting data using algorithms, we will explain how personal data will be used.

3.We respect your will and protect your privacy

  • We give you the right to choose how we use your personal data that is disclosed to us. You will be able to monitor and modify your service usage status whenever you wish.
  • In conducting data analysis and prediction using personal data, we will ensure individuals are not subject to unintended discrimination or diversity impacts.

4.We thoroughly consider privacy when transferring personal data to group companies and partner companies

  • When providing personal data to group companies and partner companies outside the group, we will do so within the scope of your consent, except where permitted by law.
  • We will provide personal data only after confirming the type and nature of data to be provided, how the data will be used by the recipient, and that the data will be used appropriately.

5.We manage personal data securely

  • We have organizational and technical security measures in place to protect your personal data from any unauthorized access or use, including protection against cyberattacks, internal fraud, and operational errors. We are dedicated to maintaining the security of your data and continually review and enhance our systems to defend against threats in various forms, whether human, physical or technical.
  • We will regularly evaluate information security and reduce information security risks.
  • In the event of a data breach, we are committed to doing the right thing by responding swiftly and minimizing any damage or inconvenience caused to all affected stakeholders.

6.We process personal data within a privacy protection system

  • We will examine the impact of the use of personal data on people and society from multiple viewpoints, and this will influence the services we offer and the measures we have in place.
  • We will establish a system to appropriately identify and manage privacy risks (e.g., establish a Group Privacy Governance Council), and work together with the group companies to protect privacy of each individual.
  • We will regularly evaluate the status of our efforts to protect privacy and conduct continuous reviews to reduce privacy risks.
  • When required, we will seek the views of external experts to ensure the objectivity of our decisions so that we can continuously improve and positively respond to evolving societal and stakeholder expectations.
  • We will routinely educate and inform our staff, through training and information sharing, on the importance of privacy protection in relation to the services that we offer.
