PERSOL HOLDINGS to Invest in VISITS Technologies, Inc., Provider of Platform that Enables Students and Alumni to Get Connected
PERSOL HOLDINGS CO., LTD. (formally known as Temp Holdings Co., Ltd., based in Shibuya Tokyo, president Masamichi Mizuta, hereinafter “PERSOL HOLDINGS”), a temporary staffing and placement service company, a company of PERSOL Group, has invested in VISITS Technologies, Inc. (based in Minato-ku Tokyo, CEO/Founder Masaru Matsumoto, hereinafter “VISITS Technologies”). The investment was made via PERSOL INNOVATION FUND LLC (formally known as Temp Innovation Fund LLC, based in Shibuya, Tokyo, CEO Takeyuki Kato, hereinafter “PERSOL INNOVATION FUND”), who leads the group in investment to create new businesses and services through open innovation.
■Purpose of Investment
VISITS Technologies, Inc., established in June 2014, has been developing products under the mission, “Building a world where everyone can choose their paths in life by using technology to unearth their full potential,” from day one. The PERSOL Group is planning to develop joint service with VISITS Technologies’ service planning capabilities and knowledge of the human resources field through this investment, as the PERSOL Group has been collaborating with innovative startups through open innovation for many years. One of the PERSOL Group’s core companies, PERSOL CAREER CO., LTD., is scheduled to lead the joint development of the new service with VISITS Technologies.
PERSOL HOLDINGS will continue investing in innovative companies with technologies and/or services in the HR domain via PERSOL INNOVATION FUND to realize the PERSOL Group’s vision: “Creating a social infrastructure for people and organizations that catalyze growth and innovation.“
